Alumni Reunions Homecoming Week

Class Reunion Celebrations*
Join the classes of 1970, 1971 and 1972 for a reunion. The Class of 1962 will also be gathering.
All events will be at the CH2M HILL Alumni Center on campus unless otherwise noted. 

Registration and pricing will be posted soon. Pricing options will include:

  • Thursday, Oct. 13 Medallion lunch and class photo only
  • All reunion events and activities

Virtual registration option: For those who are unable to attend in person, there will be an option for a free online registration to watch the campus tour presentation with tour guides and storytellers, Erin Haynes,  72, and Gene Compton Newburgh, '72. 

Thursday, Oct. 13

  • 9:00 a.m.  Coffee with Campus: a breakfast reception with campus representatives. Connect with your college, ask questions and hear updates on campus life today.
  • 10:30 a.m. A campus tour presentation with photos and stories. Special guest tour guides and storytellers, Erin Haynes, 72, and Gene Compton Newburgh, '72.  This event will be live-streamed for online viewing.
  • 12 p.m. Medallion Lunch: celebrate your 50th golden reunion with a presentation from campus leaders and receive your 50th class reunion golden medallion. Classes of 1970 and 1971 are encouraged to attend to receive their medallions as well. 
  • 1:30 p.m. Class photos
  • 2 p.m. Alumni gatherings by interest/student clubs
    • Publications and communications groups and clubs
    • Academic honorary groups (Mortar Board, Blue Key, etc.)
    • Student government (ASOSU, MUPC, etc.)
    • Sports teams and clubs
    • Music groups (band, choirs, etc.)
  • 3:30 p.m. Campus walking tours focusing on Athletics facilities and the Cultural Centers. The tours will happen at the same time and both will also be available on Friday. 
  • 6 p.m. Women's living group gatherings organized by fellow classmates. Gatherings will be at various locations in Corvallis. A list of gatherings will be posted later in the summer. If you are interested in helping to organize a gathering, please let us know by emailing osualum@osualum.com. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the events.


Friday, Oct. 14

  • 9 a.m. Campus walking tours focusing on Athletics facilities and the Cultural Centers (same tours as on Thursday). Reunions attendees should plan to meet at the CH2M HILL Alumni Center for the tours. Pre-registration will be required.
  • 10 a.m. Campus open houses and homecoming activites. Class reunion guests are invited to participate in campus-wide homecoming activities. More details will be released this summer.  
  • 6 p.m. Men's living group gatherings organized by fellow classmates. Gatherings will be at various locations in Corvallis. A list of gatherings will be posted later in the summer.  If you are interested in helping to organize a gathering, please let us know by emailing osualum@osualum.com.

Saturday, Oct. 15: 1970s Decade Reunion Tailgate* 

Join the classes of 1970-79 for a reunion tailgate celebration at the Alumni Center before the game! We will have a reserved space in the Alumni Center for this reunion group. The event will be free to attend and food and beverages will be available to purchase. Registration will be live this summer.

OSU Alumni Association Reunion Assistance for Alumni

The OSUAA is pleased to assist alumni groups with OSU reunions in the following ways:

  • Assist with electronic communication with alumni on behalf of the reunion committee
  • Notify colleges and departments up upcoming reunion
  • Assist with obtaining reunion lists
  • Place reunion announcement in the Class Notes section of the Stater magazine
  • Advise on overall programming and timelines
  • Assist with: venue selection, catering, photography, audio-visual logistics, budget and contract review
  • Provide online registration for events
  • Coordinate athletic tickets and advise on local accommodations
  • Create informal name tags and advise on other printed materials
  • Advise alumni group in locating campus maps and other important campus brochures, fact sheets
  • Assign an Alumni Association staff member to attend main event to welcome attendees (schedule permitting)
